We called Hi-Tech Electric back for some long-needed electrical upgrades after they promptly handled an emergency issue earlier this year. Nikki handled my call promptly and found me a service date that worked with our schedule. When the electrician Noah arrived, he was friendly and courteous. He kept me aware of the progress of his work and updated me on all costs. Noah provided professional efficient service and reviewed all the work with me when finished. We even added an upgrade last minute he was able to adapt and make it work. For all that we had done that day, the price was very fair. At first, we had the issue about the power on and off. We called some company, but it was hard to make an appointment. There was one on the go, but it looked like they didn't know what they were doing, and the issue kept coming back. We called Hi Tech, and they're very responsive, very professional, and very nice people. They came to the house and fixed the issue. The other one, the typhoon, hit the tree that connects to the power line to the house. Hi Tech is the best. They relocated the pole, and they did a great job. Josh is the name of the guy. Thank you. Update: The manager reached out the next day and explained the situation and how things should have gone after the service call. I was thankful for the quick response, empathy, and care. She asked around to the lead electrician to see if someone else may have more experience with this so I do not have to go to someone else. At this point, all concerns were remedied and they deserve full credit for that as an honest trustworthy company. Thank you!
We called in advance to ask if they have someone who knows how to repair a doorbell system on the electrical side. They said they do and we were happy due to the early timeframe in coming out. The guy that came out was nice enough, but clearly, he was not well versed in doorbell wiring as I had to provide a lot of feedback. He then asked for the chime and doorbell instructions (they charge by the hour). He then states that he thinks I may need a larger transformer. However, he goes out for about 45 minutes, if not longer, and gets a transformer that is the same size as the one I already have. Remember they are still charging me by the hour. He ends up saying, well I am sorry I was not able to fix it, let me draw up the bill. I am like alright, I knew I would have to pay at least the service fee. But you literally did not do anything. Your advice was to try a larger transformer or see if the device was defective. The transformer was tried and did not work, was too big and the device is not malfunctioning. It either needs updated wiring or something to strengthen the power returning to the chime. I was charged for the full three hours and with nothing to show for it. Now I am paying another company. Be mindful before you request services from this company.
